I spent the first half wondering what is was supposed to be about, Phoebe’s dad died of leukaemia, her sister was found dead at the bottom of a cliff in Italy. Phoebe goes off to Europe to retrace her sister’s steps before she died…. OK, but so what? Then on page 169 someone important turns up and I realise what it is about and the real story gets going.
